The DOT Approach

Purpose of Workshop:

  • Play is an important tool for young children's development. However, more emphasis has been placed on formal education in our local society.

  • In the E-Bridge preschool, there is a shifting in focus on play-based learning, instead of formal academic experiences, where children are engaged in hands-on learning to new learn new concepts.

  • Hence, this parental workshop serves to highlight the importance of play for young children in school, and the significance of parental involvement to extend play at home.

Target Audience:

Our team aims to target all parents of Nursery Two children in the school. This workshop will be conducted around April of the year, where parents and children can complete the kit by Parent-Teacher Meeting in June for discussion.
